Julio Miranda

Julio Miranda, born in Paraguay, is a dancer, ballet teacher, and choreographer. He began his dance training in Paraguay and continued his education through international scholarship programs in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. As a scholarship holder of the Birgit Keil Foundation, he completed his dance studies as well as the postgraduate program “Dance Stage Practice” at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim.

Throughout his stage career, he performed with several German theater companies, including Staatstheater Augsburg, Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin, and Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, where he served as a principal danceruntil July 2024.

Since 2014, he has also been working as a choreographer. His creations have been presented at galas, festivals, and by ballet companies throughout Europe and South America.

Since September 2023, he has been Artistic Director, Ballet Teacher, and Choreographer at LOFT 13 Arts and Dance Center in Leipzig.
